The Home Stretch

As I am finishing editing my book, I realize that I don’t have much left in it to do.  Here is the overview/synopsis of my first novel:  A Stalker’s Obsession.

Izabella Jacobson is in trouble – big trouble.  The TV talk show host has a stalker, and, no matter how much she ignores them, they’re not backing down.  When her father is alerted to her growing problem, she knows that the NYPD Police Commissioner will unleash the best on his force to help her.  The only issue?  She doesn’t want any help – until she meets one of the detectives assigned to keep her safe.

Cade Brenson always preferred to work in the shadows, which made him the perfect Navy SEAL.  Now a detective for the NYPD, he’s thrust into working a case for one of the most influential men in the city – his boss, the Commissioner.  Despite the potential career-enhancing perks this may bring, Cade faces two problems.  One: the case closely resembles one that still haunts him; and, two: the case involves his feisty, incredibly sexy neighbor – who just happens to be the Commissioner’s daughter.

As if Cade’s dilemma couldn’t get more complicated, Izabella’s stalker ups the game by committing a string of violent murders.  Forcing the two to spend even more time together, Cade and Izabella eventually give in to the temptation – bringing a lot more trouble and murders.  When the stalker hatches a carefully crafted plan that leads to Izabella being kidnapped, Cade realizes that he must finally face the mistakes of his past to rescue the woman that has become his future.

I hope you enjoy this synopsis of my novel!  Please let me know what you think.  Thank you for reading!
